Enforcement
The Anti Power Theft Squad was formed in 1983 and re-designated as the Enforcement Wing in 2002. There are 21 Enforcement Squads, each headed by an Assistant Executive Engineer, organized under 4 divisions: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Trichy. Two additional squads (Flying Squad/Chennai and Intelligence Wing) bring the total to 23, supervised by the Superintending Engineer/Enforcement Chennai.
